Puppy / kitten starter Packs
To give your new family member the right start our plan includes:
Vaccinations
Puppies: distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, leptospirosis 4 and parainfluenza and one Nasal Kennel Cough.
Kittens – feline enteritis, feline flu and leukaemia.
Depending on the vaccines they have had with the breeder, this may be one, two or three appointments to ensure they are fully covered.
Flea and Worm treatments
Puppies: 3 months Simparica Trio (3 tablets) this covers them for Fleas, ticks, Lungworm, Roundworm.
Kittens: 3 months Stronghold (Topical treatment) this treats Fleas, ticks and worms
Profender this treats (Topical treatment) this treats Roundworm and Tapeworm
Nurse appointments
3 Nurse Appointments: This will ensure your puppy/kitten gets used to the practice and our team. During these appointments we will check their weight, dispense the correct flea treatment and help with any concerns or questions you may have regarding your new pet. Our nurses are qualified to answer a range of questions including nutrition, training, neutering and insurance. We will even give them a treat!
Insurance
We strongly advise pet insurance and even though we do not recommend any companies we can introduce you to Petplan and offer immediate 4 weeks free cover. If you have any questions regarding insurance please ask our team.
Once your pet is 6 months old after their final nurse appointment we can join them up to our Healthy Pet Club, please ask our team for further information on what our club has to offer.
Puppy / Kitten Starter Pack Terms and Conditions
Please note that it is your responsibility to utilise the above listed entitlements of the puppy / kitten starter pack and that you shall not be entitled to any refund in respect of unutilised benefits.
Payment of £100 is to be paid in one sum at the time of your first appointment in the practice.
In the event that any of the entitlements cannot be fulfilled within the expected timeframe due to injury, illness or any other unforeseen circumstances, Rouken Glen Veterinary Surgery will endeavour to ensure that they are provided at an appropriate time in the future.
For the avoidance of doubt, Rouken Glen Veterinary Surgery have absolute discretion as to the medications and treatments provided under the terms of this agreement.
